OCDLA serves the defense community by:

guarding against the erosion of all citizens’ rights, protecting and strengthening the constitution, improving the administration of justice, promoting public awareness of the function and duties of criminal defense practitioners, continuing legal education, formal and informal networking, legislative action, disseminating information through publications, including the Oregon Defense Attorney newsletter, and email lists. OCDLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational association, governed by a 14-member board.
